Food Stamps in San Jose

Food stamps help you buy nutritious food for you and your family with coupons and an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card. Food stamps help just when you need it most.

How do you apply for Food Stamps?

You must apply in person for the Food Stamp Program. Here are two places in San Jose where you can go to apply:

Services: Apply for food stamps, cash assistance or MediCal/Medicare. You must apply in person for food stamps or cash assistance. You can call and have a form sent to you for MediCal or Medicare.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (8 am - 4 pm to apply)

WIC (Women, Infants and Children)
